Rabbi Moshe Faskowitz - Mora D'asra

Once again, Rabbi Faskowitz, our program's Mora D'asra, will lead our well renowned group of Rabbi and lecturers during this coming Passover. Rabbi Faskowitz who is currently the Rosh Hayeshiva of Yeshiva Madreigas HaAdam and the Rabbi of the Torah Center of Hillcrest, is also the former President and Chairman of the National Council Young Israel Rabbis and the former VP of the RCA. He will dazzle us with his sermons and lectures on a broad range of topics affecting us all and will instill a warmth in our program making us feel that we are celebrating the Yom Tov as one.

Rabbi Eli Lando - Head Rabbi of Kashruth

Rabbi Eli Lando, is one of the esteemed personalities at our program.  Responsible for BCK Business and operations, Rabbi Eli Lando has escorted many companies around the world in obtaining and maintaining kosher certification, with energy and dedication. His many years of experience and articulate manner, has enabled him to convey important lessons in Life and Judaism to us all.   He will insure that our program’s standards meet, and indeed exceed, all Passover Kosher requirements.

Dr. Michael Salzhauer - Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Michael Salzhauer, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 10 years experience helping his patients achieve beautiful, natural-looking results. Dr. Salzhauer's surgical skill and artistry attract patients from across the nation and around the world to his Bal Harbour plastic surgery facility. He is featured routinely on television networks such as CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox News, Univision and Telemundo, and on programs such as Entertainment Tonight and Inside Edition. He has been recognized frequently in publications such as The Miami Herald, Marie Claire, Glamour, In Touch and Life & Style magazines. Dr. Salzhauer is also the host of "NIP / TALK" Radio (Sunday morning at 11AM on 940 WINZ), the only radio talk show about plastic surgery in Florida.

Hannah E. Shonfield, MS, CCC-A - Certified Audiologist

Ms. Hannah Shonfield, clinical audiologist at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, received her B.A. degree summa cum laude from Yeshiva University Stern College for Women and her M.S. degree in Communication Science from CUNY-Hunter College School of Health Sciences.  
Ms. Shonfield has been affiliated with Weill Cornell since 2002. Her expertise includes the diagnosis of adult and pediatric hearing loss, rehabilitation of adult hearing loss including hearing aid fittings, vestibular/balance assessment, electrophysiologic/ electroacoustic testing, and cochlear implant mapping. She is currently on the faculty at NYU, as well as the Yeshiva University Stern College for Women.

Rabbi Dr. Akiva Eisenberg - International Lecturer

Rabbi Dr. Akiva Eisenberg has long been known for his stimulating approach to learning and his insightful Shiurim.  Over the years Rabbi Dr. Eisenberg has taught hundreds of talmidum and inspired many with his lectures and advanced learning programs.  This Passover, the Daf Yomi will be given by Rabbi Dr. Eisenberg, as well as a number of lectures on a broad range of topics that affect our Jewish Communities.

Dr. Sam J. Sugar - Board Certified Specialist in Internal Medicine

Dr. Sam Sugar MD FACP, began practicing medicine more than 30 years ago after being awarded his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. After a distinguished medical training career, including being Chief Resident at Northwestern University, he went on to become a long-standing member of the faculty of the Feinberg Medical School at Northwestern University as well as Rush University Medical Center, all in Chicago. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.  He also created Glenbrook Medical Associates, a multispecialty group practice, as well as PAGE, an independent practice association which ultimately grew to bring affordable healthcare tens of thousands of patients in the North Shore of Chicago.  In 2004 Dr. Sugar was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to the Governor’s Physician Advisory Panel for Assisted Living Facilities in Florida.  He is currently the Director of the Sleep Disorders program, MedCheck Polypharmacy program and Executive Examinations at the Pritikin Longevity Center and Spa in Doral, Florida.
            Dr. Sugar is a popular lecturer with a humorous approach to complex issues on a wide range of topics in the field of health care systems, sleep disorders,  preventive medicine, medication reduction and the impact of culture and diet on health.
